PAYMENT TERMS:
To secure your booking, we require an initial advance payment to hold the bookings, with the remaining balance due before your services begin. The amount of the advance payment is determined by our management, considering the nature of the service and the time remaining until your service commencement.
General Payment Terms:
- Upon confirmation of your package request, an immediate payment of 50% of the total tour package cost is necessary to book all required services.
- 100% cost of the tour package is required 10 days prior to your arrival date.
- Payment terms may vary based on the policies of hotels, airlines, railways, and seasonal factors.
- We do not offer credit facilities.
In certain cases, such as Special Train Journeys or bookings during peak seasons like X-Mas, New Year, or Local Festive events, full payment in advance is required.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
If you need to cancel your tour or travel services due to any avoidable/unavoidable reason/s, please notify us in writing. Cancellation charges will be applied from the date we receive your written advice, as follows:
- 60 days prior to arrival: 10% of the Tour/service cost
- 45 days prior to arrival: 20% of the Tour/service cost
- 15 days prior to arrival: 25% of the Tour/service cost
- 07 days prior to arrival: 50% of the Tour/service cost
- Less than 72 hours or no show: No refund will be issued.
Separate cancellation policies apply to train/Airplane journeys and hotel bookings, as per the policies of IRCTC, airline companies, and hotels.
SOME CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICIES ARE OUT OF OUR TENDER
- Hotel refunds follow the hotel’s cancellation policy.
- Train ticket cancellations adhere to the Railway’s policy.
- Flight ticket cancellations are subject to the airline’s company policy.
- After the commencement of your trip, any refunds will depend on our ability to recover costs from our partners.
- We do not refund unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation, missed meals, etc.
SPECIAL NOTE:
- Standard check-in or check-out will be as per hotel guidelines An early check-in or late check-out is solely based on the direction of the hotel.
- In case your package needs to be cancelled due to any natural calamity, weather conditions, We will return the amount as per cancellation policy only.
- For Air tickets being issued/blocked on time limit: Full INR component will be collected before issuance, else price will be subject to change.
- Full payment must be made by the procedure stated above. In case of non-compliance thereto by the client, the company reserves a right to cancel the tour/booking of the client with subsequent loss of deposit and apply and recover the cancellation charges as mentioned herein.

OUR LIABILITIES AND LIMITATIONS:
- We are not responsible for expenses resulting from flight delays/cancellations, strikes, natural disasters, personal loss/theft, sickness, accidents, epidemics, customs department regulations, or any other causes beyond our control.
- We do not have any insurance policy covering the expenses for accidents, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other reasons. Visitors are advised to obtain appropriate insurance coverage as per their requirements.
- All baggage and personal belongings are at the client’s own risk.
- Please be aware that any increases in entrance fees, taxes, fuel costs, or guide charges by the Government of India after finalizing the tour/service cost will be charged separately.
LAW AND JURISDICTION:
Services provided by Walk and Explore fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of Amritsar.
