Tour Plan

Day 1: Delhi Arrival

Upon your arrival in Delhi, our representative will meet you and assist you in transferring to your hotel. You will have free time to explore the nearby surroundings and relax overnight at the hotel in Delhi.

Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing and transferred to Agra by Road (200 kms / 4 hours)

After breakfast, your sightseeing tour of Delhi will begin with a knowledgeable tour guide. You will visit major tourist spots in both Old and New Delhi, including some prominent government buildings. The itinerary includes:

  1. Red Fort (Lal Qila): Built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, this magnificent red sandstone fort served as the residence of Mughal emperors for a long time. It is an important historical landmark and the site where the Indian Prime Minister delivers the Independence Day speech.
  2. Jama Masjid: One of the largest mosques in India, famous for its red sandstone and white marble structure. It is a place of devotion for Muslims.
  3. India Gate: A war memorial located near Rashtrapati Bhavan, built to honor the soldiers who lost their lives during World War I.
  4. Chandni Chowk: One of the oldest markets in Delhi, renowned for its traditional Indian clothes and jewelry.
  5. Humayun's Tomb: A magnificent tomb built in the memory of Mughal Emperor Humayun, known for its Persian, Turkish, and Indian architectural style.
  6. Lotus Temple: The last Bahai temple, built in the shape of a lotus with pure white marble.
  7. Qutub Minar: A towering structure standing at a height of 72.5 meters, built by Qutbu'd-Din Aibak in 1199 AD.

In the afternoon, you will embark on a road journey to Agra in an air-conditioned vehicle. Upon arrival in Agra, check in at your hotel and enjoy the evening at your leisure. Overnight stay in Agra.

Day 3: Agra Sightseeing – Jaipur by Road (240 kms / 4 hours)

Early in the morning, around 5:30 AM, you will visit the majestic Taj Mahal to witness its mesmerizing beauty during sunrise. Taj Mahal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is an architectural marvel built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife. Afterward, return to the hotel for breakfast.

Next, you will explore the Agra Fort, another UNESCO World Heritage Site, which served as the main residence of the Mughal emperors of the time. Later, you will continue your journey to Jaipur by road, with a stop at Fatehpur Sikri along the way. Fatehpur Sikri is a fortified city renowned for its blend of Hindu and Muslim architecture.

Upon arrival in Jaipur, check in at your hotel and spend the evening at your leisure, exploring the nearby attractions. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day 4: Jaipur Sightseeing

After breakfast, embark on a visit to Amber Fort, located 11 kilometers from the city. Amer Fort is a splendid palace constructed by Raja Man Singh, showcasing a harmonious blend of Hindu and Muslim architectural styles. Enjoy an enchanting elephant ride to reach the main entrance of Amber Fort.

In the afternoon, commence the city tour of Jaipur. Begin with a stop at Hawa Mahal, one of the most renowned tourist attractions built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. This five-story structure resembles a crown and offers breathtaking views. Next, proceed to the City Palace, a magnificent palace complex exhibiting a fusion of Rajput, Mughal, and European architectural elements, originally built by Sawai Jai Singh. Later, explore Jantar Mantar, an extraordinary astronomical observatory constructed by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. Return to your hotel and stay overnight there.

Day 5: Jaipur to Delhi by Road (260 km / 5 hours)

After breakfast, you will be chauffeured to Delhi in an air-conditioned car. Upon arrival in Delhi, check in at your hotel and spend the rest of the day engaging in leisure activities.

Day 6: Delhi – Dharamshala by Flight (1 hour) - Dharamshala Sightseeing

Board a scheduled flight from Delhi Airport to Dharamshala. Upon arrival, meet your driver at the airport and transfer to your hotel by car. In the afternoon, embark on a sightseeing tour of Dharamshala, including visits to Chamunda Devi Temple, Chinmaya Tapovan, Norbulingka Institute, Dal Lake, Dalai Lama Temple, and McLeodganj Market.

Chamunda Devi Temple, situated on the banks of the Baner River, is a famous shrine with a history of around 700 years. Chinmaya Tapovan is an Ashram complex founded by the late Swami Chinmayanand, and its 9-meter high idol of Lord Hanuman is a sight to behold.

The Norbulingka Institute is a thriving Tibetan community dedicated to preserving Tibetan culture through training, employment, and education for Tibetans. Here, you can witness traditional art objects, clothing, and home furnishings.

Surrounded by Deodar trees, Dal Lake is a serene and sacred spot that captivates visitors with its emerald-green water. A short walk from the McLeodganj bus stand leads you to the Dalai Lama Temple, a major tourist attraction offering spiritual teachings of Buddhism. Participate in the morning prayer and admire the beautifully crafted statues of Lord Buddha, Avaloktwshwara, and Padmasambhava. After the tour, return to the hotel for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 7: Dharamshala

After breakfast, embark on an excursion to Kangra Valley, which includes visits to Masroor Rock Cut Temples, Kangra Fort, and Vajreshwari Devi Temple. Marvel at the Indo-Aryan architecture showcased in the intricate carvings and sculptures of Masroor Rock Cut Temples.

Kangra Fort, over 1,000 years old and situated between the Manjhi and Bangana Rivers, is a magnificent historical fort offering stunning views of the mountains to the north and the plains to the south. Dedicated to goddess Vajreshwari, Vajreshwari Devi Temple is located in the town of Nagarkot in the Kangra district, featuring a drum house and stone walls. After exploring these remarkable sites, enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 8: Departure from Dharamshala - Delhi by Flight

After a delightful breakfast, you will be escorted to Dharamshala Airport for your scheduled flight back to Delhi. Bid farewell to the scenic beauty and serene atmosphere of Dharamshala as you embark on your journey back home. Cherish the memories of your incredible trip as you fly back to Delhi, concluding your memorable tour.
