This tour will start at 9:30 AM and will take blessings from Golden Temple. During Golden Temple Walk, you will learn about the origination of Sikhism, its culture, and its great contribution to society. If we are talking about society, then how could we forget the Jallianwala Bagh massacre? On this tour, you will learn more about Jallianwala Bagh and some famous freedom fighters.

In this 2 days tour of Amritsar, you will see the Attari Border Indo-Pak retreat ceremony. India's border is Attari, and Pakistan's Border is Wagah. In this retreat ceremony, you will know that they are lowering the flags together on both sides of the border. During this ceremony, you will see the love of the people for the country too. If we are talking about the Attari Border, then how can we forget about the Partition Museum? This is the world's first and last Museum, which is based on migration or partition. Tour Plan

Day 1

9:30 AM: Golden Temple walk

As we know, the Golden Temple is a sacred place for Sikhs to worship, but it also shows a sign of equality. In this Golden Temple Guided Walk Tour, you will learn more about the history and culture of Sikhism. This Golden Temple Guided Walk will divided into three parts that is architectural, history, and cultural part. In the architectural part of the tour, you will learn about the messages and information about the architecture. In the history part, you will visit the Sikh Central Museum to learn about Sikhism and Amritsar City. In the cultural part, you will get to know about their day-to-day worship practices and have a tour of the world's largest community kitchen (Langar Hall).

12:00 PM: Jallianwala Bagh

If we are in Amritsar, then how can we forget to visit Jallianwala Bagh, which plays an important role in Indian history? During this 2-day tour package of Amritsar, you will visit Jallianwala Bagh. This is the place where a British General committed a huge Massacre called General O Dwyer. This Massacre happened on 13 April 1919. During this Jallianwala Bagh tour, you will see the original bullet marks of that Massacre. It has some museum galleries that recall the vibes of that Massacre.

Lunch Break

3:00 PM Drive to Wagah Border

If you are in Amritsar, then you must listen to the word Attari pr Wagah Border once. It is an Indo-Pak border, and the India side is called Attari, and the Pakistan border is known as the Wagah Border. This Indo-Pak border is famous all around the world for its retreat ceremony. People cheer for their own countries from both sides, and they lower the flag together. This border is 30 km away from Amritsar, and during this tour, you will get a chance to explore this. After the Wagah border, just rest and stay overnight in a hotel.

7:00 PM Gobindgarh Fort:

Gobindgarh Fort – the very symbol of Punjab. A character of the times when Punjab was forged. Spread across a grand 43 acres, right in the heart of Amritsar city, this magnificent heritage site has a glorious history of its own. It spans 263 years, right from the era of the Bhangi Misl to Maharaja Ranjit Singh to the British East India Company to the Indian Army. Now, finally, it opens its gates to the people of Punjab. Despite being under restoration, the Gobindgarh Fort has gained popularity in such a short time and has become one of the best places due to its importance in Amritsar’s history. Day 2

10 AM: Partition Museum

Your second day will start with a new chapter of history. Today, we will explore the in-depth information between India and Pakistan in 1947. This second day of your tour will start at 10 AM. During this Partition Museum, you will see various galleries and every gallery will tell its own story. This Partition Museum tour will be for around 2 hours.

11:00 AM Heritage Walking Tour

After completing this Partition Museum tour, we will start a heritage walk. On this walk, you will feel the old era of the city and get back to the 90s. During the Heritage Walking Tour, we will cover the old part of the city and explore some hidden gems. Also, you will meet with your great grandfather Am, Amritsar, who is 400 years old. This tour will start outside of the Partition Museum and end up outside of the Golden Temple complex.

12:00 PM: Durgiana Mandir

Durgiana Mandir is a Hindu shrine, and its sanctum is just a replica of the Golden Temple. Also, its gates are made from real silver, and also it is constructed from real gold. In this temple, there are footmarks of Lord Krishna, too. You can end your tour with this amazing spiritual place.

Lunch Break

2: 00 PM Onwards: Local Bazar Tour

Visit local Bazars from where you can take some things back with you as the rich souvenirs of punjab. You can buy Authentic punjabi phulkari Dupatta, shawls, suits, jewelry, spices etc.
