Tour Plan

Day 1

9:30 AM: Start With Visiting Iconic GOLDEN TEMPLE

In Golden Temple Guided Walk, you will learn more about Sikh history and culture. As we know, the Golden Temple is a sacred place for Sikhs, but it also represents a sign of brotherhood and equality. During this Golden Temple Tour, you will visit the Central Sikh Museum and get to know more about all the 10 Sikh Gurus and their history. Golden Temple also has the largest community kitchen, which is known as Langar Hall. In this Langar Hall, you will see the seva, which means to serve society without any greed. Also, more than 50,000 people eat food here daily. During this walk, you will feel the power of spirituality and peace, too.

12:00 PM: Jallianwala Bagh

During the Jallianwala Bagh Walking Tour, you will get to know more about the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre, which happened on 13 April 1919. Also, we have the bullet points of that massacre that will help you get back in time. As we know, Amritsar is a spiritual city, but it also plays an important role in independence. You will learn more about one of the famous freedom fighters, Sardar Udham Singh, in this walk. You will learn a lot about India's independence during this tour.

Lunch Break

3:30 PM: Drive to Wagah Border

Wagah Border is 30km away from Amritsar. Basically, the Indian side of the border is the Attari Border, and the Pakistan side of the border is the Wagah Border. From the Attari Border, Lahore is just 25km away. Also, if you have a visa from Pakistan, then you can cross the border after completing some legal formalities. There is a retreat ceremony, which is performed by soldiers on both sides very aggressively. They shout Vande Mataram or Bharat Mata ki Jai very loudly and proudly. Also, this is the only border in India where we celebrate this retreat ceremony. Also, both sides start lowering the flags together. You will feel the love for the nation among citizens here.

Day 2

9:30 AM: Real Village Tour

Start your day 2 of the tour by experiencing vibrance culture and traditional rural areas of Amritsar. As we know, if you want to see the culture of any city, then you must explore the rural area of that city. During a village tour, you will just feel like a local villager who is going to be a part of their day-to-day activities such as milking cows, cooking food in clay ovens, doing some work on farms, and much more. Also, you will learn to play some cultural games like gulli danda, kabaddi, etc. I can say that this is the perfect tour for feeling like a villager.
