Wagah Border is 30km away from Amritsar. Basically, the Indian side of the border is the Attari Border, and the Pakistan side of the border is the Wagah Border. From the Attari Border, Lahore is just 25km away. Also, if you have a visa from Pakistan, then you can cross the border after completing some legal formalities. There is a retreat ceremony, which is performed by soldiers on both sides very aggressively. They shout Vande Mataram or Bharat Mata ki Jai very loudly and proudly. Also, this is the only border in India where we celebrate this retreat ceremony. Also, both sides start lowering the flags together. You will feel the love for the nation among citizens here.
